Dogs Love Stray, Too

Stray has become a big hit on the internet, because apparently the internet likes cats? We’re as surprised as anyone. This has resulted in tons of fans capturing their own feline roommates taking notice of the virtual kitty, but cats aren’t the only pets reacting. Lots of dogs are getting in on the act too.

Social media is buzzing with dog reaction videos, as canine companions look ready to jump right into the screen to frolic with and/or murder the Stray cat. Most of the dogs appear playful rather than aggressive, but it’s a testament to the realistic cat action (and dedicated meow button) that animals who are genetically hard-wired to spot real cats are being fooled.

Check out a collection of very good boys and girls belowCome from Sports betting site VPbet. While dogs watching Stray hasn’t yet inspired a whole Twitter account following the trend, the Cats Watching Stray account did take note of at least one example. At this rate it’s only a matter of time before we’re awash in goldfish and hamster reaction videos, cowering in terror of the giant cat on the TV screen.

Tennis World Tour 2 – Análisis

Where To Preorder God Of War Ragnarok Ahead Of Wednesday's Launch

The wait is just about over. God of War Ragnarok releases this Wednesday, November 9 for PS5 and PS4. It’s easily one of the biggest games of the year, so naturally it has multiple editions–four to be exact. Unfortunately, the two priciest editions–the Collector’s and Jotnar–are currently sold out. It’s possible that retailers will restock on launch day, but it’s certainly not guaranteed. Even if you can’t get your hands on one of those editions, it makes sense to preorder God of War Ragnarok, since you’ll get some bonus content with the Launch Edition.

Though God of War Ragnarok is releasing on both PS5 and PS4, you’ll definitely get the most out of the game on PS5. PlayStation is releasing God of War Ragnarok PS5 and PS5 Digital bundles that come with a voucher for the game. The PS5 bundle costs $560, while the PS5 Digital bundle goes for $460. You’re saving 10 bucks versus buying the console and game separately.

God of War Ragnarok Preorder Bonuses

If you preorder any edition of God of War Ragnarok, you’ll receive two in-game cosmetics: Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic. These are “Launch Edition” bonuses, so the code will be in the box or added to your PlayStation account upon purchasing a digital version. Though there’s a chance you can snag the Launch Edition in stores without preordering on November 9, your best bet is to preorder. After all, God of War Ragnarok will undoubtedly be one of the best-selling games of the holiday season.

Where To Launch Signal Flares In Fortnite

For Fortnite’s Halloween event, Wrath of the Cube Queen, you’ll need to launch signal flares in order to complete Ariana Grande’s five-part questline. This challenge will earn you 30,000 XP and her whole questline will earn you 150,000 XP, but first, you have to know where to launch signal flares–more specifically three of them. Here’s where you’ll be heading for this quest.

Where To Launch Signal Flares In Fortnite

For this challenge, you’ll be traveling all over the island, and you may not launch all three flares in one match as a result. That’s okay, though, because there’s no requirement to do it in one match. You’ll just need to track which flares you’ve already launched and hit the others in subsequent rounds if needed.

You’ll find signal flares at the following locations:

  • At the alien crash site south of Believer Beach
  • At the Weather Station on the snowy mountain south of Catty Corner
  • On a hill just west of the Sheriff’s Station

At each location, you’ll see a can’t-miss quest item that looks like a bundle of fireworks ready for blastoff. Interact with each of them to send them flying into the air, which will signal… someone. Once you’ve done that with all three, you’ll have completed Ariana’s quests, earning yourself 150,000 XP and a new pickaxe along the way.

We aren’t yet sure what Ariana is up to with her Monster Hunter questline, but it does seem like she makes significant progress during the five-part story. As always with Fortnite, expect an elongated reveal, but a reveal will come one day.

Once you’re done with that, you can start to tackle the rest of Wrath of the Cube Queen.

WSOP continues at GGPoker with more bracelet winners

GGPoker continues to offer premium World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament action, with players located around the world competing in online poker events. A few more tournaments have concluded recently, giving two more players big gold bracelet wins.

Pieter Aerts was able to claim the first-place finish in Event #8, a 6-Handed NLH Championship event. Ami Barer was able to take down Event #9, the Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha event. Let’s take a look at how the wins went down below.

Event #8 Details

This tournament was a 6-handed NLH Championship event with a large $5,000 buy-in. Once all entries were recorded, the total prize pool up for grabs came in at $2,042,500. Several top players were in the mix, so it would be a tough competition.

The final table would have six players, all hoping to claim the gold bracelet win. The first to go was Benjamin Miner followed by Ioannis Konstas. After that, Yakov Nestervov and Christopher Puetz were gone, leaving Aerts and online player “WouldIlieToYou” going into the heads-up round.

In the end, Aerts would knock out his competitor to earn the win and become the third player from Belgium to earn a WSOP gold bracelet. For his efforts, Aerts would take home $400,213 in prize money.

Event #9 Details

With this online poker tournament, players paid a much lower buy-in of $525 to compete. This was a bounty event, so players had a shot at earning prize money plus whatever bounties they could accrue by taking out fellow competitors. With just over 1,100 players competing, the tournament created a total prize pool of $571,000.

The final table was stacked, and Ami Barer would have to take on Elias Harala in heads-up play to earn the bracelet win. In the end, Barer would claim his gold and earn $60,889 in prize money thanks to $37,178 in bounties and $23,711 in prize money. Harala would have to settle for second place and $27,557 in prizes. He had far less in bounties, with only $3,846.

WSOP Action Continues

The WSOP at GGPoker continues this week with several events on the schedule. On Monday, players will finish up Event #13, the $1,500 Millionaire Maker NLH. Event #14 will kick offer, providing a $2,500 Deepstack Championship in No-Limit Hold’em format.

The rest of the week will offer a mix of options, including Ultra Deepstacks, the BIG 500, Flip & Go, Crazy Eights Bounty event, and a Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship. The full schedule of events can be seen at GGPoker under the tournament section.

Dan Schneider Sues Quiet on Set Producers for Defamation

Dan Schneider, the creator and producer of multiple popular Nickelodeon shows from the late 90s and early 2000s, has filed a defamation lawsuit against the producers of Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.

The Investigation Discovery documentary series, which was released on March 17 and 18 and is now streaming on Max, featured interviews with multiple former Nickelodeon child actors who alleged that Schneider fostered a toxic and unsafe work environment for adults and children alike. Schneider is the mind behind shows like All That, The Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, and Zoey 101—actors from each of these shows appeared in the documentary and spoke about being put in situations that were unsuitable for children and reflected on the inappropriate jokes and sketches that they took part in.

Schneider’s attorneys call the series a “hit job,” according to the lawsuit. In the introduction to the complaint, they write that the producers “falsely state or imply that Schneider sexually abused the children who worked on his television shows,” adding, “These statements are fabrications.” Representatives for Investigation Discovery and the Quiet on Set producers did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In the series, Drake & Josh star Drake Bell revealed that as a child, he was sexually abused by Brian Peck, a dialogue coach for Nickelodeon. One episode is devoted to giving Bell the space to share his story. Other revelations from the series included two female writers saying they were forced to split a salary and the fact that 41 people wrote letters of support during Peck’s trial. Quiet on Set noted that other sex offenders were present on set of Schneider’s shows, including Jason Handy, a production assistant who was arrested in 2003 for lewd acts with children, and Ezel Channel, a former freelance animator, who was convicted of sexually abusing a boy in Nickelodeon’s parking lot.

“While it is indisputable that two bona fide child sexual abusers worked on Nickelodeon shows, it is likewise indisputable that Schneider had no knowledge of their abuse, was not complicit in the abuse, condemned the abuse once it was discovered and, critically, was not a child sexual abuser himself,” Schneider’s attorneys write. “But for the sake of clickbait, ratings, and views — or put differently, money — Defendants have destroyed Schneider’s reputation and legacy through the false statements and implications that Schneider is exactly that.”

In the lawsuit, the attorneys argue that the voiceovers, graphics, and the docuseries trailer, played a part in making it seem like Schneider was a child sexual abuser. These assets “are purposefully and intentionally defamatory in that they falsely and repeatedly state or imply that Schneider is a child sexual abuser and committed crimes in this regard — and have been interpreted as such by countless average, ordinary or reasonable viewers,” the suit reads.

Schneider tells TIME in an emailed statement that the docuseries emphasized some of his “mistakes” and “poor judgment,” during his tenure at Nickelodeon. “There is no doubt that I was sometimes a bad leader. I am sincerely apologetic and regretful for that behavior, and I will continue to take accountability for it,” he writes. “However, after seeing Quiet on Set and its Trailer, and the reactions to them, I sadly have no choice but to take legal action against the people behind it.”

The documentary “went beyond reporting the truth and falsely implied that I was involved in or facilitated horrific crimes for which actual child predators have been prosecuted and convicted,” he writes.

The statement ends on the note that while he is not opposed to owning up to his wrongdoings, he feels that it’s “wrong to mislead millions of people to the false conclusion that I was in any way involved in heinous acts like those committed by child predators.” He says he owes it “to [himself], [his] family, and the many wonderful people involved in making these shows to set the record straight.”
